Things You'll Need:
- Yellow Pages
- A good seamstress
-
Step 1
Check out local discount stores such as Ross or Marshall's that have dresses for a fraction of the price.
-
Step 2
Go in and try on many dresses. Some may work, others will not. Remember, with a little sewing, they may be good as new.
-
Step 3
Work with slightly damaged clothing. My dresses' straps were broken so I took it to a local seamstress. She even re-sewed beads for me. It cost $20.
