Step 1
Where money permits and where possible, try to buy organic produce if it's available. When buying "organic," you are giving your body pure and simple, unadulterated nutrients, instead of not knowing whether what you have just bought contains GM (genetically modified or manipulated) food.
-
Step 2
Know in the United States, manufacturers do not have to tell consumers whether their products contain genetically modified or manipulated seeds, therefore in terms of time lapse, the manufacturer and the consumer don't know just what the effects will be on the human body in the long run. Don't take chances on your health.

Step 3
Read package labels. Make sure all ingredients are healthy and not loaded with fat and sugar. If you can't pronounce a word in the ingredients list because of its length, then don't buy the food.
-
Step 4
Avoid artificial colors, MSG, preservatives and gums. Have you ever looked at all the unhealthy substances that are in a package of hot dogs? Look in the organic section of your local supermarket for something healthy to use as a substitute for hot dogs; your body will thank you.
