It can be hard finding a qualified babysitter to watch your children while you are away. Below are tips some helpful tips on finding a sitter.

  1. Step 1

    Get referrals from friends and family.

  2. Step 2

    Call your local high school and speak with the guidance counselor. Ask if they could suggest someone to you or put up a flier at the school.

  3. Step 3

    Advertise on bulletin boards at local churches, at the post office, at local community colleges, etc...

  4. Step 4

    Use the internet. Sites like care.com, craigslist, babysitters.com etc help set families up with sitters.

  • Whatever route you go make sure to do an in depth interview and check references.
