Potty Train your child, guaranteed to work!!!
Potty Train your child, guaranteed to work!!!

This article will teach you how to potty train your child.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • posterboard
  • a marker
  • stickers
  • some dollar store toys
  1. Step 1

Use the posterboard and write the words either "big boy" or "big girl" in bubble letters. You can use different colors to make it more interesting.

  2. Step 2

Explain to your child that everytime he or she tries to go to the bathroom they get to put a sticker on one of the letters. And each time a letter is filled they get a "surprise".

  3. Step 3

Each time your child goes to the bathroom get out some special stickers and let them choose which one they want to put on.

  4. Step 4

After your child puts the sticker on praise them, and after a letter is completed give them a toy picked out from the dollar store.

Tips & Warnings
  • I tried this and it works great!
  • You can try putting fruit loops in the toilet for boys to aim, but that didnt work for me.
  • By the time my son had filled out the word "BIG" he was totally potty trained. He kept his poster up for months to show people.

on 6/24/2008 There are things you can buy that are special made to help train boys to aim. You place them in the toilet. I think you can buy them online. Try a google on Wee target or Toilet Targets. Also I read somewhere that some dayschools put blue food coloring in the water and when the boys pee it turns the water green. Aparently little boys get a real kick out of that!
