How to Wake Up In The Morning On Time

No one likes getting up early in the morning. Many people hit the snooze button on the alarm clock just to delay getting out of bed. There are some ways to get you out of bed on time without feeling like you completely want to crawl back in bed.

Instructions

Set the alarm clock for 10 minutes before you normally set your alarm clock. Go to bed 10 minutes earlier then usual the night before to balance it out. For example, if you normally get up at 6:30 am and snooze until 6:40, set the alarm for 6:20 am and feel free to snooze only until 6:30 am, but don't sleep any later then that. That way you'll actually be waking up the time that you're supposed to.

If the first step isn't for you or you're trying to avoid snoozing, set the alarm for the time you have to get up and as soon as the alarm goes off, tell yourself that 10 minutes won't make a difference at all in terms of sleep, but getting up now will allow you to not have to rush.

Before you go to sleep, tell yourself that you have wake up at so and so time. If you have to get up at 7am, say it a couple of times before you fall asleep. You should wake up on time the next morning and possibly a few minutes before your alarm. It's strange, but it works.

Have something bright in your room near your alarm. Most bedrooms have a tendency to be neutral and warm colors. Whether it be a painting or flowers, having something bright will awaken your senses a bit and not have you waking up to all calming colors.

Keep your alarm near the door to your room. The closer it is to your bed, the more inclined you will be to crawl back in. The more annoying the sound of the alarm the better. Really loud static works wonders.
