Get a free amortization schudule for any loan. Calculate how long it will take you to pay it off and how extra payments can benefit you.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Open Microsoft Excel. At the bottom of the worksheet you will see 3 Tabs, Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3.

  2. Step 2

    Using the right button on your mouse, right click on Sheet1 and select Insert from the menu.

  3. Step 3

    Go to the Spreadsheet Solutions Tab and Select Loan Amortization from the list. Click OK.

  4. Step 4

    Now plug in your loan information and it let Excel do the rest of the work!

Tips & Warnings
  • Be honest with the numbers you are working with.
  • Try to set a schedule you can live with and make early payments to get rid of that debt.
  • Many companies charge to provide you with a loan amortization, beware of companies that do this! Why pay for something you can figure out yourself?
