I read just over 200 books in the last year. I learned a lot, and I feel like it was a huge accomplishment. If you want to read 200 books as well, here are my strategies to do it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • library card
  • determination
Step1
First you need to be determined to read as many books as possible. Writing down the books you read can help you stay motivated and on track. You need to finish 3 to 4 books a week.
Step2
Use the library to check out books. Make a plan to go every two weeks, so that you have a consistent supply of books.
Step3
Always bring a book with you. This will help you read a lot more. You can pull out your book while you wait, or when you have a break at work.
Step4
Set short term goals for yourself to stay on track, and always have a few books going at once. This will help you maximize your reading.
Step5
Eliminate most of you television viewing and internet surfing. You don't have time to waste.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you aren't finishing books quickly enough, look for easier books to read.
  • Keep books in different places around the house so that they are easy to find.
