Spring cleaning isn't just for your house... Come spring, our pets shed much more than normally and giving them baths can be a really 'hairy' experience.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Place a steel wool pad into the drain before washing your dog or other pet.
Step2
Wash dog as usual. Don't be afraid to really scrub that loose hair away.
Step3
Throw out the steel wool, along with all that hair, once your done rinsing out the tub.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a rubber bristled brush to help get out the loose hair (I personally love the Zoom Groom by Kong pet care products)
  • Use cooler water to wash and rinse a pet who is prone to shedding. Hot water encourages shedding. (please don't be mean and use only cold water though, just so it's not too warm)
