How to Book a Stay at Deer Run Retreat

Step1
Determine how many people will need to stay--if it's your family, friends, sports team or another group--and if you want to stay in the lodge or in the outdoor cabins.
Step2
Determine if you want complete flexibility, want to run your own stay or want Deer Run staff to facilitate activities, speakers and meals.
Step3
Contact Deer Run Retreat at (615) 794-2918 or (888) 794-2918 and ask if the dates and space you are interested in are available. Also let the Gibsons know if you will need access to the lake, the conference space, the ropes courses or other facilities.
Step4
If your dates are not available, or if you want a more structured event, look into the pre-set camps for 2008. The Gibsons specialize in Christian-themed events, and this year's weekends include a Father-Son Adventure Weekend, a Whiffleball Field and Dreams Men's Weekend and a Married Couples Weekend.

Tips & Warnings

  • Visit the Deer Run Retreat website for photos, contact information and complete facility details.
  • The Gibsons also offer their property for special church and missions events. So far they have annually hosted a special weekend for single parents and for children of incarcerated parents.
