A fun activity to do with kids before Easter or for the start of spring.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon
  • Small bowl
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice Crispies
  • Waxed paper
  • Jelly beans
  1. Step 1

    Place waxed paper over the bottom of a small bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Melt chocolate in microwave.

  3. Step 3

    Add Rice Crispies and mix well.

  4. Step 4

    Press the mixture over the wax paper to achieve the shape of a nest.

  5. Step 5

    Add jelly beans to the inside as eggs.

Tips & Warnings
  • If your jelly beans won't stay add some peanut butter to help them stick.
  • Add some 'Peeps' as chicks in the nest for added fun.
  • It's a good idea to use cooking spray on everything to help make cleanup easier.
  • Be careful when melting chocolate.
