Sub buns, canned or packeted tuna, shredded cheese (cheddar, swiss,American, motz, your choice),mayo, onions, butter and ground chipotle pepper.
Step1
Drain that tuna,I prefer the packeted type. Add about two tablespoons of mayo to the tuna. Fork the fish until all chunks are out. I used the larger pack of tuna which make two sandwiches. Now add about a quarter tsp. of your chipotle ground pepper. Mix this stuff well.
Step2
Now I guess this may be the hardest part of the procedure talking mincing the onion. I'm not real good at this. Mince half an onion throw it in with the tuna and mix well.
Step3
Take your sub buns slice lengthways. Butter the inside and put on hot griddle (you know where I'm going with this right?). OHYEAH, grilled sub buns. Now put that tuna mix you made on your finished buns unsparingly, pop these guys into the oven at three fifty for oh, I don't know say ten minutes to melt that cheese (as in tuna Melt). Now start mauing down!
Tips & Warnings
I would say to use one pouch of tuna per sandwich. Also use salt and black pepper to your taste. Use diced green peppers if you want in your mix, the sky's are the limit! How about lettuce? That makes a nice garnish on the sandwich.
You know I can't think of any warnings to pass on to you. Maybe be careful when dicing with a sharp knife, don't burn yourself on the hot griddle or the oven rack. If you make these too well people will want these all the time. Be aware of this.

These sound great - the next time I go to the store, I'll pick up some tuna. Oh if you want minced - maybe use a grater? Watch out for knuckles. But it's a little safer than a knife. Those square graters have four choices - sliced, two sizes shredded and one mush. Smiling!
