Instructions

    • 1

Melt the chocolate bars over low heat in a double boiler pan. Keep a close eye on this one. Stir with a slotted spoon to keep from cooking the chocolate.

    • 2

Wash the strawberries and pat dry. Dip ¾ of the way into the chocolate mixture.

    • 3

Set the strawberries aside on wax paper for the chocolate to set. When you set them down do it so the top of the stem is against the paper. This will keep streaks and wierd lumps out of the coating.

    • 4

Assemble your tree by sticking a toothpick through the top of the strawberry by the stem. Layer the strawberries around the cone pushing the toothpicks into the base.

    • 5

Once all layers are completed top with the last strawberry facing up, stem down. This tree makes a great addition to any meal.

Tips & Warnings

  • Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Return to the refrigerator once an hour to keep the tree chilled.

  • Never leave the stove unattended.
