How to Change the Channel on your Television

How to change channels with your television remote.

Things You’ll Need:

• 1 TV
• 1 Remote control

1. Locate your channel up and channel down buttons on your remote control.
2. (on some remotes to TVs, there may be several different buttons that control what your remote is controlling. Ex. TV, satellite, cable, VCR, etc.) Therefore, if you want to turn your TV on and off, change its channel, etc. you must first push the TV button. (and vice versa)
3. Last, push the channel up and channel down buttons for different channels. Keep in mind that channel options may vary with service providers (digital cable, satellite, etc.) and packaging of services.
