How to Configure workstations for DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)

Set your internet to have your ISP grab your IP address automatcally commonly used with ISP's such as COX, Time warner, At&T

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Computer

1. This assumes a DHCP server is attached to the network.
   
   Right click “Network Neighborhood”.
   
   Click “Properties”.
2. Right click “Network Neighborhood”.
   
   Click “Properties”.
3. At the “IP address” tab select “Obtain an IP address automatically” and click [OK].
   
   Click [OK] to reboot.
   
   NOTE: This can also be done from the netwrok connections section of the control panel.
