These simple to make Easter egg decorations will look like sugared ceramic eggs. They are very quick and easy to make and would make a lovely gift for a shut-in.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Styrofoam eggs
  • Straight pin
  • Sponge brush
  • Mod Podge by Plaid
  • Rice paper napkins
  • Crystal Glitter
  • Paper plate
  • Wax paper
  1. Step 1

Divide the napkin into layers. Keep only the top decorated layer.
Tear them into 2" or smaller pieces. It doesn't matter if they are uniformly torn.

  2. Step 2

Put some Mod Podge on a paper plate. Stick a toothpick into one end of the egg to act as a handle. Sponge brush a bit of Mod Podge on part of the egg.

  3. Step 3

Lay a piece of the napkin, right side up, over the egg. Smooth with finger or sponge brush.

  4. Step 4

Continue covering egg with glue and napkins.
Finish with one coat of Mod Podge over entire egg to seal.
