As the weather begins to warm, try this quick desert for any party, barbeque or just for yourself. Enjoy!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar (or splenda)
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 small box jello
  • 3 large grapefruits
  1. Step 1

Bring sugar, water and corn starch to a boil and cook until it begins to thicken.

  2. Step 2

Add box of jello. I would recommend using raspberry or another tangy berry, but any flavor works. Mix well and cool in fridge.

  3. Step 3

Remove the fruit meat from the grapefruits. Drain juice and remove seeds. Add pulp to jello mixture.

  4. Step 4

Pour into a baked pie shell. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • for best results, use shortbread or graham cracker crust pie shells.
  • if using a homemade pie crust, make sure it has cooled after cooking.
