How to make frozen candle holders

How to create lovely candle holders, using fruit, pinecones, leaves, flowers. Warm ambient light from a candle sitting in a frozen pond of water.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• ice cream container or cool whip container
• water
• plastic cup
• pieces of fruit, flower petals, natural materials.
• candle
• freezer

1. Fill the container with water, then add anything natural to the water, such as flower petals, seashells, sliced fruit(grapefruit, orange etc.), cranberries, anything that'll freeze into the water.
2. Place the cup into the center of the container and place lid over the whole container, put into the freezer and let it freeze.
3. After it has been frozen, remove plastic cup, this is where the candle can sit, place onto a glass plate and light the candle, enjoy! I've done this for several occasions, its simple and beautiful to look at, always use votive candles, easily replaced.

Tips & Warnings

• Don't use glass products to freeze, they'll snap with the cold of the freezer and water.
• Never leave a candle unattended.
