How to Make a Healthy Breakfast Parfait That is Quick and Low-Fat

Just because we are on the go doesn't mean we can't eat a healthy breakfast. This parfait is quick and low-fat and can be enjoyed at home or on the way out the door.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 2 cups nonfat vanilla yogurt
  • 2 cups low-fat granola
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 2 kiwifruit, chopped
  • Ground flaxseed (optional)
  • Wheat germ (optional)
  • Glasses
Step1
Chop the kiwi fruit.
Step2
Slice the fresh strawberries.
Step3
Layer half of the low-fat yogurt, granola, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi fruit, wheat germ and flaxseed in 4 glasses.
Step4
Repeat the layers and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

  • These ingredients can easily be made into a smoothie for breakfast. Blend all ingredients, except the granola, in a blender, including a few ice cubes.
  • For just one healthy breakfast parfait, use 1/4 of the ingredients.
