  1. Step 1

    A back or foot rub.

  2. Step 2

    A love poem.

  3. Step 3

    A single rose from your garden.

  4. Step 4

    Sing a love song leave it on her answering machine.

  5. Step 5

    A romantic walk.

  6. Step 6

    A homemade card.

  7. Step 7

    Clean the house.

  8. Step 8

    A love note on her car.

  9. Step 9

    Sing a song to your child in her belly.

  10. Step 10

    Read her a book or a poem.

  11. Step 11

    Draw her a bath and place rose petals in it, surround it with candles and soft music

    Go with her to the prenatal visits.

    Make a frame for your first ultrasound picture of the baby.

    Read Painless Childbirth, or any other book on pregnancy and birth she has around the house. and share your thoughts on the birthing experience.

  • Remember give unconditionally. Make sure you do it without expecting a certain response from her. Pregnancy is a mysterious journey, she might not feel well, she might be nauseous, her hormones might be raging. She might notice what you have given her and she might not. Giving makes us feel good about ourselves if we don't set ourselves up for failure by expecting a specific response from the receiving end.
