1. you will need a pc begingger disk once you put the cd in you will need to restart your computer and then go to hard disk tool and click whip hard drive now then it will ask you are you sure press y for yes
2. then you need to run your windows xp cd
3. you will need to install any software you might want back in your pc such as a webcam or printer
