Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Schedule
  • Necessary materials to put up objects, clothes, shoes and etc.

Step1
First, write out a 30 minute plan with you and your children on what areas you all are going to take care of first in the house. For example: For 30 minutes we are going to clean John's room and his closet. The next 30 minutes we are going to clean the living room and kitchen and etc. Continue every 30 minutes until you complete all of your desired cleaning tasks.
Step2
Play classical or positive mainstream music that soothes your atmosphere while you are working. This will help with your time efficiency and will motivate you and your children. Check on your kids periodically and praise them for there hard work and effort.
Step3
If it is difficult for you to have cooperation with your children, eliminate distractions, don't get stressed out nor scream at them, use your "I mean business voice" to get them to make a deal with you to do their part in cleaning the house and to let them know also that there is no negotiation to getting things done on a time sensitive schedule.

Tips & Warnings

  • Stay consistent with your work and time
  • Take a break to refill your energy
