How to Make Your Own My Yahoo! Page
A My Yahoo! page is a personalized page that contains all the favorite things you usually search the Web for or want to have at your fingertips. You can check your email, watch auctions, play games, add apps, read the news from your favorite news sites, get weather, maps, TV listings. Setting up the page is an easy process of adding modules, which you can remove or edit at any time.

Visit yahoo.com. Click "My Yahoo!" on the left side of the Yahoo! menu. Click "Sign In" to login to your Yahoo! account, or click "I'm New Here" to create a new account.

Sign up for a Yahoo! account by entering your name in the text fields. Select your gender, birthday, country you reside in and postal code. Select a Yahoo! ID and email address, which will be "xx @yahoo.com." Enter a password, verify it by retyping it, then select an alternate email address in case you forget your ID or password. Type in the captcha, then click "Create My Account." Alternately, if you already have a Yahoo! account, sign in.

Click the "Content" tab to add and content on your My Yahoo! page. Select the suggested content from the icons displayed, or click the forward-facing button to view more content options. Alternatively, search for content in the "Browse Content" pane on the right. Choose from popular topics such as "Money," "Sports" and "Entertainment." Click "I'm Done" when your content has been selected.

Click the "Themes" tab to customize the colors, change the layout of the page, or increase or decrease the type size. Choose from pre-made themes with different textures, colors, or holidays. Choose an icon that represents your theme choice, or scroll through the up and down arrows to select more options. Click "I'm Done" when your theme or color scheme has been selected.

Click the "Options" tab to adjust your My Yahoo! Reader features. You can select how your mouse clicks or rollovers display your news headlines, and you can choose to read a snippet of a story rather than opening it and leaving the page.

Click "-" or "+" next to your main modules to expand or reduce the content that is displayed in your main window. Click the pull-down "Option" menu to the right of your content for other choices, such as "Share," "More Info," "Refresh" or "Remove."
