How to Make a Pedicure Funky

Almost nothing is more relaxing than a pedicure. Because our toes are often hidden, we have a bit more creative freedom when deciding on color and design of the pedicure. Here's how to get a funky look that no one in your corporate office will ever see!

1. Go non-traditional when choosing a color for a pedicure. Pick a color that you'd never use on your fingernails, like yellow, green, blue or bright purple.

2. Consider some artwork. Most nail salons have a bunch of fake nails with designs painted on them displayed as samples for manicures. However, you can also choose one of these designs for your big toe. The manicurist will use tiny brushes and bright colors, even glitter polish, to apply your design just right.

3. Add a tiny colored jewel to your big toe. Most nail salons have a selection of colored jewels for you to choose from. You can even have a little fake diamond on your toe!
