I suggest consulting a dictionary. Voila is spelled as shown here and the definition is --- used to call attention, to express satisfaction or approval, or to suggest an appearance as if by magic. It has French origins and literally means - see there.
Step2
Walla is actually "Walla Walla" and is a geographical name. It is a city in Southeast Washington. So using walla instead of voila is incorrect as there is no similarity to their meanings.
Step3
In conclusion, if you are unsure of the meaning or spelling of a word, it is a wise decision to use a dictionary.

You know, I just wrote an eHow article and not only did I use the wrong one....I spelled it incorrectly! Thanks! I'm going back to correct it now.

Phonetically ambiguous words can be hard for people to spell when what they want to write seems like it should be spelled in a way that is more simple than actually spelling it on sound. Voila actually pronounces more correctly when read phonetically. At least with the Midwestern standard accent that most news anchors use.
