After a trip-of-a-lifetime to Australia, your souvenirs remind you of the great time you had. Don't stuff them in the closet. Display them throughout your home. Here are ways to feature these unique items.

1. You can group the items in one room for a dramatic theme room or sprinkle throughout the house to delight you at every turn. If you want a theme room, a home office is a good spot to surround yourself with special mementos.
2. Large items like a digeridoo can be placed above a doorway or above a shelving unit. The eye will seek it out. A light colored wall shows off the shape and designs of the instrument.
3. Go through all the photos and pick out highlights of the trip. Enlarge these or frame them in groupings. They provide talking points when people ask about your Australian display.
4. Soft items like sheepskin rugs or woven throws look good tossed across a love-seat or big chair. The sheepskin won't last as well if used on the floor. Find a low traffic area if using the sheepskin as a rug.
5. Group small items like wood carvings together for more impact.
