I make candy for co-workers during many occasions. The thing my customers like are the uniqueness of the product I provide. This is because I am on the lookout for new candy molds.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet provider
  • Capability to buy online, usually a Visa/Mastercard
  1. Step 1

Find a reputable dealer. I prefer to keep a wish list and order more than 8 at a time. This saves on shipping costs.
    The websites I use are: www.candylandcrafts.com, www.onestopcandle.com or www.getsuckered.com

These sites have excellent customer service and a quick turn around time and are secured sites.

You can buy some molds at local craft stores, but the online purchases give your candy a unique quality.

  2. Step 2

Take the time to go through the online catalogs. Again, make a wish list. Use the website catalog numbers, it will save you time.

  3. Step 3

Place your order. Your items should be delivered within a week if they are in stock. (without paying expedited shipping)

  4. Step 4

Wash your molds with warm water before use. Make sure they dry completely. Water can ruin your chocolate.

Tips & Warnings
  • These websistes offer tips on how to paint your chocolate, take care of your molds, etc. There is a lot of information.
  • Buy a set of letters. Spelling out the name of the candy gift recipient is a nice touch.
  • This can get addictive. Make sure you have adequate storage space. To date I have 10 rubbermaid totes full of them.
