Providing your baby is healthy, you may find yourself going to the pediatrician's office less and less often. This is a wonderful thing, except when everyone asks you the same question when they see you: How big is the baby now? The problem is that since you have not been to the doctor lately, you probably do not have a good answer. Like me, you would respond on March 20, "On February 6, he was 14 lbs." Here is a way you can actually have an answer for friends and family that is easy enough to perform at home.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

First, get ready for the toughest step. Weigh yourself.

  2. Step 2

    Write down your actual weight.

  3. Step 3

Pick up the baby and check what you weigh together.

  4. Step 4

Subtract your weight from the weight of the two of you together to get the baby's weight.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember not to fib when weighing yourself as your result will not be accurate.
  • Guessing your own weight will not help either.
