There are a lot of people out there who claim to be psychic. If you want to use a psychic, it is very important to choose one that is reputable. While it can sometimes be difficult wading through the fakes to the true psychics, it is not impossible and with a little work and time you should be able to find someone that you can trust. Here are the steps to finding a reputable psychic.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Do research. Go online and look up psychics, or if you know of ones local to your area, check them out. Find out their track record of accuracies and what others think of them.

  2. Step 2

Make a list of the ones you think appear to be reputable. You’ll want at least four or five to start with. This will give you a better idea of what is available and what you want.

  3. Step 3

Interview the selections on your list in person if you can or over the phone. See what they are like and how they make you feel after talking to them.

  4. Step 4

If after the first interview process you are not satisfied that you have found the psychic for you, then repeat the process as many times as necessary until you do find what you want.

  5. Step 5

Repeat Steps 1 through 4 as many times as necessary until you find the psychic you are looking for.

Tips & Warnings
  • Go with your gut if you don’t feel comfortable or if something about the psychic seems shady or off, feel free to cut the interview short and leave.
  • Pay attention to the tools the psychic uses. You’ll find that some will use tarot cards or even a deck they have created themselves while others may want to perform a small ritual in whatever faith they are part of. Just pay attention to these things and if anything makes you feel weird, you have the option to choose someone else. However, don’t dismiss a psychic out of hand because of the tools they use. Sometimes once you have a reading, you will feel differently.
  • If the first thing the psychic brings up is their charge and it’s a big one, then it is time to get out. Many psychics, even the reputable ones do charge something for their services, but if it seems like they are more interested in your money than in helping you, it is time to leave.
