As you become more familiar with editing video, you may be ready to experiment with color correction effect. There are many different effects that can be applied to your clips when working in Adobe Premiere Pro. It is important to understand what can be done with each of these effects.

Step1
Fast Color Corrector effect adjusts a clip’s color through hue and saturation. There are levels controls for adjusting the intensity of shadows, midtones, and highlights. This effect is great for making simple color corrections.
Step2
The Luma Corrector effect adjusts the brightness and contrast in the highlights, midtones, and shadows of a clip
Step3
The Luma Curve effect adjusts the brightness and contrast of a clip through a curve adjustment. You can specify the color range to be corrected using Secondary Color Correction controls.
Step4
The RGB Color Corrector effect adjusts the color in a clip, by adjusting tonal ranges that you can define for the highlights, midtones, and shadows. You can also make tonal adjustments to individual channels, or specify the color range to be corrected using Secondary Color Correction controls.
Step5
RGB Curves effect adjusts the clip’s color using curve adjustments for each channel, and each curve has 16 different points in the image’s tonal range.
Step6
The Three-Way Color Corrector effect lets you make more subtle corrections to the clip’s hue, saturation, and brightness for the shadow, midtones, and highlights. The effect also has a histogram that displays the image’s luminance. You can further refine your adjustments by specifying the color range to be corrected by using the Secondary Color Correction controls.
Step7
The Video Limiter effect lets you limit the luminance and color in the clip so that they fall within definable parameters.
