Step 1
Go digital. Digital cameras allow you to view instantly the photos you take. If anyone’s eyes are closed or if something is out of focus you’ll be able to delete the picture and try again until it is to your liking. Not to mention most digital cameras offer memory cards with large amounts of storage and are conveniently small and portable for easy use.

Step 2
Arrange the photos you download from your camera into folders. Group them by month or event, so they are easier for you to sort through later on.

Set up a page on a photo sharing website such as Webshots, Picasa or Snapfish. This will allow you to easily share your photos with your family and friends.

Print your photos and put them chronologically into photo albums. If you don’t have a photo printer at home, take the memory card from your camera to a photo center and print your pictures there. Don’t wait too long to print your photos if you want to put them into albums; this will cause you to print a large quantity of photos at once and this can become tedious very quickly.
