Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Watch the sets, and look for your wave.
Step2
Run towards the water. Some people run paralell to the water, some diagonal, some straight. Depending on what you are going for, do that.
Step3
hold your board Level as you run.
Step4
When you reach the water, drop the board as you give it a slight thrust forward. (You should drop the board as you step with your front riding foot.)
Step5
As the board falls, use your next step (this is the one step part) to jump onto the board. This is not a huge jump, you want to land gently. It is almost as when you push off with your step (your back back riding foot) the front riding foot next step is right onto the board.
Step6
Bend your knees as you get onto the board.
