Things You'll Need:
- 4 cups of zucchini
- 2 cups apple
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 ½ tspns cinnamon
- 1 ½ tspns cream of tartar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Butter - cut into pats
- Pie Crust

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Zucchini - thePeel the zucchini and cut them lengthwise. Remove the seeds and cut it in slices about 1/4 inch thick. Cook slices in boiling water until they are barely tender, about 2 minutes. Remove it from the stove. Drain well and cool completely.

Peel and core the apples. Slice them about 1/4 inch thick.

In a bowl, toss the cooled zucchini and apples with sugars, cinnamon, cream of tartar, flour and salt until all are well coated.

Place the pastry in a 9 inch, greased pie pan. Fill with zucchini/apple mix. Dot with butter, drizzle with vinegar. If desired, use a second pie crust to top. Make small slices in the center of the top to let steam escape.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 75 minutes or until the apples are tender.
