How many times have you caught your kids eating play dough? Your solution is here: peanut butter play dough that's not only a great modeling clay but is edible, too. This version is so easy to make that your kids can make it themselves. The recipe makes a single serving of play dough that is enough for one kid. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • Peanut butter, creamy
  • Honey
  • Powdered milk or powdered oats
  • Small mixing bowl

Instructions

      Scoop 3 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter into a small mixing bowl.

      Add 1 or 2 teaspoons of honey to the bowl. You can skip this step, but most kids (and adults) like the sweet taste. Stir well.

      Stir in about 8 teaspoons of powdered milk (preferred) or powdered oats. You may need to use more; just add enough until you no longer have a sticky mess. Don't add too much or you won't be able to play with the dough.

Tips & Warnings

  • If a mess is no big deal, skip the bowl and let the kids mix the play dough on some wax paper.

  • Don't give this play dough to any kids who have allergies to peanuts.
