Sleeping is one of the most important things that children must have. A good night kiss in not even enough to give them a restful and peaceful night sleep. Here are the some tips that I have tried myself for 10 yrs and find very effective on making them sleep tight and dream sweet.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
1.BATHROOM - make sure that they clean their bodies, brush their teeth and change their clothes before going to bed. These give them a fresh start.
Step2
2. BABY POWDER,COLOGNE AND BRUSH- after cleaning their bodies, encourage them to put on little powder and cologne (if possible)then brush or comb their hair. These are simple and uncostly relaxation therapy.
Step3
3. BOOKS,BOOKS,BOOKS - reading them short stories especially about parents' love and kids, love and friendship, achievements and triumphs, failures and victories and other realities of life made them aware of the many realities of life. Fairy tales are also good to read but I believe this should not be done frequently since this might give the children the idea that all in life is a bed of roses.
Step4
4. PRAY-teach your kids to pray and have faith while they are still young. Show them some bible characters and stories. Praying together is very effective since this is good thing to model to your kids.
Step5
5. LITTLE MASSAGE - if possible give them the taste of spa at home. Massaging says a lot of positive things to your child. It may mean love, assurance and it heals pain and frustrations too that they get from school and peers.
Step6
6. KISSES AND HUGS- give them a lot of kisses and hugs and sleep with them even for an hour. This is one sure way of bonding with them especially if you and your spouse work and the kids go to school or stay with the nanny in the daytime.

Tips & Warnings

  • CLEANING THEIR LITTLE BODIES IS ONE WAY OF TRAINING THEM TO BE NEAT.
  • KIDS GROW TOO SOON!!!Make sure you don't miss these sweet moments with them. Don't wait too long for you to realize that they are grown ups already and starting to enjoy their own lives(they might not need you anymore!). Enjoy them while they are young, hug them, play with them, tease them once in a while and most of all...be with them as much as possible!!!
