Kansas City is definitely known for its delicious finger licking barbecues. They know how to throw down some of the best barbecues around and if you want to try and create the delicious flavor in your own backyard then here is a recipe for a wonderful barbecue rub that you can use on Beef, Pork, Chicken or even Fish.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne (or more to taste if you like it hot)
  1. Step 1
     

    Mix all of the ingredients together well.

  2. Step 2
     

    Rub it all over your beef, chicken, pork or fish.

  3. Step 3
     

    Allow it to marinade for a few minutes and cook as you wish.

  4. Step 4
     

    Store any unused rub in a sealed container in the freezer.
