Second Harvest is an organization committed to providing hunger relief to men, women and children across the United States and in Puerto Rico. Members of Second Harvest collect and distribute foods and grocery products and work to raise awareness about hunger in America.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    To find the nearest Second Harvest-affiliated food banks, visit the organization's Web site. (secondharvest.org).

  2. Step 2

    Donate canned foods to community food drives or organize a food drive of your own.

  3. Step 3

    Volunteer your time to Second Harvest by sorting foods, serving foods, providing administrative assistance, or offering your professional services.

  4. Step 4

    Donate money to Second Harvest.
