Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
Understand your target audience. Blogs are opinion-based, and opinions by nature, will not please everyone. Don't try to please everyone.
Step2
Find your niche or genre. Since these blogs are opinionated they tend to lean towards one side rather than stay objective.
Step3
Be yourself. Blogs don't feature imagery that will win a Pulitzer Prize. They are a close connection between reader and writer due to honesty in the tone of the words.
Step4
Stylize the layout differently. You need not follow the chapter or table of contents formula like in a novel or research book. This should be a very engaging book.
Step5
As always, no matter how much you need to be yourself, make sure all spelling and grammatical errors are corrected; otherwise, what's the difference between your site and the book?
Step6
Offer insights on topics not previously featured on the blog or only slightly delved into. Otherwise, why would anyone want to pay for what can be read for free?
Step7
Anticipate that new readers, unfamiliar with your views or stances, will unknowingly buy the book. Always overexplain what might be common knowledge to some, but not to others.
