How to Install a New Car Stereo Face Plate

Once you have installed your new stereo sound system into your vehicle, it's time to install the new car stereo face plate. The new audio face plate matches the new sound system and gives your dashboard a clean, updated look.

  1. Step 1

    Line the face plate up carefully with the clips and the newly installed stereo system making sure that all the lines are straight.

  2. Step 2

    Push on the face plate with gentle pressure until it snaps into position.

  3. Step 3

    Listen for the sound of the click. That sound tells you that your new stereo face plate has clicked into position.

  4. Step 4

    Pull gently on the face plate to make sure that it is securely in place.

  5. Step 5

    Turn the ignition key to the accessories position and test the stereo system.
