Black and Mild cigars are among smokers' favorites. However, many people complain that the filter lining of the cigar makes the smoke a bit harsh. If you enjoy the flavor of Black and Mild's but would like a smooth and more pleasurable smoke, a few tricks can teach you how to "champ" or "freak" your cigar in just a few minutes.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Roll the cigar between your fingers gently, moving from top to bottom in order to loosen the tobacco from the filter inside. Leave the plastic wrapper on the Black and Mild as you roll it to keep the loosened tobacco contained
Step2
Run the edge of a pair of scissors along the top of the plastic mouthpiece, cutting a perfect edge in the plastic wrapper. Slowly and carefully slip the plastic off the end of the cigar, tapping the tobacco into the wrapper as you go. Make sure that you leave about 1/2 inch of tobacco at the bottom, near the mouthpiece.
Step3
Grip the Black and Mild just above the plastic mouthpiece and twist gently to remove the mouthpiece. Tap the rest of the tobacco into the plastic wrapper and set the mouthpiece and tobacco-filled plastic aside.
Step4
Hold the empty cigar tube in your hands and roll very gently to loosen the filter, but be careful not to flatten the tube. Use your fingernails or a pair of tweezers to grip the filter lining of the cigar paper and pull it out carefully.
Step5
Place your finger over one end of the cigar tube and carefully pour the loose tobacco back into the cigar paper. Tap the tobacco down with the end of a pen to pack it in. Once all of the tobacco is back in your Black and Mild, replace the plastic mouthpiece, smoke and enjoy.
