How to Fry French Toast Sticks

French toast is a popular breakfast enjoyed by many. There are several types of French toast such as regular French toast, stuffed French toast and French toast sticks. French toast sticks are delicious and easy to make. The best way to prepare them is to fry them.

Things You'll Need:

  • Frying pan or deep fryer
  • Vegetable oil
  • Frozen French toast sticks or prepared French toast
  • A plate covered with a few napkins
  • Syrup
  1. Step 1

    Get a deep frying pan or a deep fryer. Begin to warm it up by placing the frying pan on the stove on low heat or the by plugging in the deep fryer and setting it to low heat.

  2. Step 2

    Add the vegetable oil. Add enough oil to completely cover the French toast stick. Let the oil heat up in the frying pan or deep fryer.

  3. Step 3

    Open the box of frozen French toast sticks or cut the previously prepared French toast into strips. Drop three to four French toast sticks into the oil. The frying begins immediately.

  4. Step 4

    Fry the French toast sticks for about three to five minutes or until they are golden brown and lightly crunchy.

  5. Step 5

    Cover a plate with a couple of paper towels. Lift the frying French toast from the hot oil and place them on the paper towel. Cover them with another paper towel and press gently. This will help remove the excess oil.

  6. Step 6

    Repeat each step with the amount of French toast sticks you will need. Put the completed French toast on a plate and pour your favorite syrup on them. You can also add fruit or powdered sugar.
