Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Draw a medium size egg shape that is slightly more flat on the bottom (the wider part) than an actual egg. Orient the flat part of the egg shape in the direction that you want your sea turtle to be facing.
Step2
Make the turtle's head in the middle part of the flat part of the egg shape by drawing a short line that extends from the egg and widens into a circle and then returns to a thin line as it reaches the egg. The egg should resemble a knobby thumb.
Step3
Add the front flippers by the wide part of the egg. Make the flippers banana shapes that bend backward toward the rear of the turtle. Then add the back flippers by making them shorter, wider and more irregularly shaped on either side of the rounded point of the sea turtle's end.
Step4
Decorate and detail the turtle by adding another egg shape within the first egg shape. Draw rough hexagons inside the second egg shape to represent the texture of the turtle's shell. Add a few dots in the space between the two egg shapes and on the flippers to give some additional texture and then give the turtle a small round eye or two eyes if the perspective permits it.
