How to Tag Photos on MySpace

One of the most interesting features on MySpace is the ability to post personal photos to your profile. The ability to tag photos takes that capability one step further, allowing you to link directly to friends' profiles through the photos you post. Follow these tips to tag photos on MySpace.

        Log in to MySpace using the user name and password you used to create your account.

        Locate and click the photos link in the control panel area of your home page. Select the album you wish to begin with and then the photo you wish to tag.

        Click the start tagging link above the photo. A blinking box will highlight a small area of the photo. Use this box to frame the face of the friend you would like to tag. Dragging the box's borders will allow you to resize it as needed.

        Choose the friend's user name from the mini version of your friends list that is attached to the blinking box. You can also type a friend's name into the blank area at the top of the box. As you type, MySpace recognizes the letters and provides suggested friends whose user names begin with them.

        Wait for your friends to approve your tagged photos. MySpace sends a message to each friend you have tagged letting them know that they need to approve the tag.

        Review your photos. Those that are tagged will feature a box around your tagged friend and a link to their profile.
