Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bunch of lemon leaves
  • Scissors
  • Floral wire
  • Floral tape
  • Flowers
  • Floral polish
  1. Step 1

Pull some lemon leaves from the bunch. Lemon leaves are larger in size than a lot of greenery, so use it only if your corsages are large or the flowers are on the bigger side.

  2. Step 2

Poke a hole through the lemon leaves with wire. The length of wire should be between 6 and 10 inches. Poke the wire through the bottom of the leaf, leaving about a half inch of leaf between the hole and the bottom. If you want the leave to appear smaller, poke the hole at a higher point in the leaf.

  3. Step 3

Twist the wire tightly at least two times to secure the leaf. The wire acts as a stem since lemon leaves have none.

  4. Step 4

Wrap a small amount of floral tape around the top of the wire to secure the wire and preserve the shape pf the leaf.

  5. Step 5

Spray the leaf with floral polish to make it look more lustrous and hold its shape. Floral polish helps prevent wilting also.

  6. Step 6

Use only one to three lemon leaves for your corsage since they are larger than other greeneries. Use as a backdrop for the flowers in the corsage.

  7. Step 7

Secure the wire of the lemon leaves and the stem of the flowers with floral tape. Embellish the corsage with ribbon.
