The triple cut looks like a fancy way to mix up a deck of cards, but it actually doesn't change the order of the cards at all. It's useful when using a deck of cards that has been prearranged (or loaded).

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Begin by holding a deck of cards in your right hand, holding it with your thumb on one short side and your middle finger on the other short side.

  3. Step 3

  4. Step 4

Perform another swing cut to move another third (middle pile) of the deck to your left hand in the same manner as in Step 2.

  5. Step 5

Grip the middle pile between your fingers by placing your middle finger on the bottom of the pile and the index and ring fingers on the top. Flip the middle pile outward so it is face up.

  6. Step 6

Return place the remaining cards in your left hand, holding it in the space between your thumb and index finger (bottom pile).

  7. Step 7

Flip the middle pile back to lie on top of the bottom pile. Put the top pile on top of the middle pile in your left hand.
