Wear comfortable clothing for this type of dancing so that you can move in a flexible manner and dance without limitation. Loose pants for men and skirts for women are great for swing dancing.

  2. Step 2

Practice doing the triple step as you take your partner's hand. Combine numerous swing dancing moves by following your partner's lead. Start by doing the triple step and then an over arm spin.

  3. Step 3

Make sure the woman turns into the man when they are doing the left side pass. The woman will then end up on the side of the man and they can use a shuffle step together and move forward.

  4. Step 4

Do a lot of arm spins that include the man. Once the man spins the woman, the man can then spin himself. Swing dancing has a lot of twists and turn within it and you have to get used to it as you go.

  5. Step 5

Repeat this step over and over until you really get the move perfected. Practice with your partner as much as possible before hitting the dance floor. Don't forget to triple step when you stand in place.
