Step 1
Keep your movements smooth and easy throughout the rubber leg and other reggaeton dance moves. Reggaeton is characterized by the elastic-like movements of the dancer's body, so practice your techniques one step at a time, working on speed only once you have mastered the movements.
-
Step 2
Practice the basic reggaeton rubber leg dance move before you begin adding advanced alterations. In order to perform the basic rubber leg, spread your feet a bit further than shoulder width apart, bending slightly at the knees. Lift your right leg and drop it to the floor, then wobble your knees in, lift the left leg, drop it to the floor and then wobble your legs in.
-
Step 3
Add to the basic rubber leg by lifting both of your arms, bending the elbows at 90 degrees. Your fingertips should point straight towards the ceiling while your elbows point to the sides and your forearms are parallel to the floor.
-
Step 4
Begin moving your hands in circular motions as you continue with the basic reggaeton rubber leg movement. Once you master the arm movements, you can begin to move around the dance floor with your rubber leg movement instead of remaining in place.
