When you visit a French speaking country, you may need to know how to use money in French. You should know terms for money and how to buy things. Follow these tips to deal with money in French.
Know the common terms for money. "L'argent," means money. Bills are called "les Billets," or "les Factures," and change is called "pièces de monnaie."

Understand the currency of the country you are in. In France they use the Euro and in Canada they use the dollar. Know the basic unit of currency so you don't give the wrong amount of money when paying for something.
