How to Add 3-D Environments on iClone

Here's how to use iClone to place your characters in a 3-D environment.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open the iClone program. If you are already working on a character, load the character in iClone by clicking "File" and "Open."

  2. Step 2

    Click on the "Tools" tab at the top of the screen. A drop-down menu appears.

  3. Step 3

    Choose "3D Scene" from the drop-down menu. A list with pictures loads on the right side of the screen. The list contains different 3-D environments to choose from.

  4. Step 4

    Scroll through the 3-D environments and choose one.

  5. Step 5

    Preview the 3-D environment. You can switch environments as many times as you want.

  6. Step 6

    Save the environment and animation periodically while you are working. Click "File" and "Save." This ensures that your work is not accidentally deleted.

Tips & Warnings
  • Using iClone, you can add characters to a 3-D environment or create an environment around a character.
