Instructions

    • 1

Dig up some old clothes that you don't mind ruining. You'll need a pair of pants and a button-down shirt for a male corpse or a dress for a female corpse. Use clothing that someone might actually be buried in, such as a suit for a man or a nice dress for a woman.

    • 2

Make convincing blood stains. Red wine or grape juice, once dried, looks a lot like blood. You can also buy fake blood from a costume store to rub onto your clothes.

    • 3

Rub dirt all over the clothes.

    • 4

Rip the clothes in various places. Keep in mind that your skin will show through the tears in your clothing. Fray the hemline of a dress or the cuffs of the pants with scissors.

    • 5

Put on the clothes in a corpselike, disheveled manner. Leave buttons unbuttoned, shirts untucked and dresses askew.

    • 6

Rub white or gray face paint all over your face. Use black paint to paint dark circles under your eyes, and rub some of the black paint under your cheekbones to make your cheeks look hollow. Use some of your leftover fake blood and give yourself some wounds on your face.

    • 7

Paint any other visible skin, such as your arms, neck or legs, with white or gray body paint so all of your skin looks deathly pale.

Tips & Warnings

  • Buy a cheap wig from a costume store so you have long, scraggly corpse hair. Get one that is all white and make the hair look dirty.
