Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Locate the kitten to be sure that she is still alive and breathing. You also need to determine if she has vomited just once or several times. When you find her, she may be continuing to vomit.
Step2
Secure the kitten in a proper box or animal carrier. Be sure the kitten has a towel to lie on and proper ventilation.
Step3
Observe the vomit that the kitten has expelled. Write down how it smelled and looked. Notice if it was a certain color or if the vomit had any foreign particles in it. This will help determine if the kitten was exposed to a foreign object that he shouldn't have eaten that produced the vomiting.
Step4
Call your veterinarian and make an appointment to come in right away.
Step5
Tell your veterinarian how your kitten has been acting and how often you noticed the vomiting. The veterinarian will also want to know what the vomit looked like. He will want to know what types of plants, cleaners and other foreign objects may be around your house. This will determine if the cat has been poisoned or just simply has an upset tummy.
